GETEC Getriebe Technik GmbH participates in the opening ceremony of CERMcity, Center for European Research on Mobility/Urban Validation Environment on the Aldenhoven Test Center (ATC). The target of the CERMcity project is to create the necessary conditions for comprehensive validation of components, systems and driving functions for high automation levels in complex urban traffic scenarios. For this purpose, an urban test environment accessible to all interested users will be embedded in the Aldenhoven Testing Center of RWTH Aachen University. With the improvement of various testing equipment and capabilities, ATC plays an important role in the field of automotive testing.
GETEC Getriebe Technik GmbH presented at the booth of Car E.V. and more than 300 participants joined the event.
Mr. Trumpff, Manager GETEC Getriebe Technik GmbH says that GETEC Getriebe Technik is coming from transmission development and settled down in this high-tech area for further expansion of the services in the area of driveline system and controls development. Especially for development tasks in regards of autonomous driving, GETEC Getriebe Technik GmbH will work in close cooperation with CERMcity.
