2021 TMC HELD SUCCESSFULLY – CHINA’S ECONOMIC RECOVERY IN THE POST-EPIDEMIC ERA

China is still under strict control of the epidemic, allowing the TMC to be held as an in-person event. The conference was successfully held on July 8th and 9th, 2021 in Shanghai.

The electric drive systems as power train solutions will be the priority of the future Chinese automotive industry. This TMC focused on e-drive system technology and discussed the innovative development of transmission and powertrain technology. Almost 1,000 experts attended the conference and GETEC had the honor to attend and present our team’s research and development results.

GETEC already has technical solutions ready for the e-drive of vehicles: The range extender system developed by GETEC and the high-speed EDS can significantly improve the efficiency of the new energy systems and save costs. Based on Chinese policy, through in-depth market research and technical assessment, GETEC has analyzed the path of new energy vehicle development in China. A comprehensive comparison of the different powertrain systems that can be considered for the Chinese market for new energy vehicles was provided by Sven SteinWasher in his presentation “Which is the best technical solution for HEV/PHEV to meet future requirements?”. As a possible solution, GETEC presented its 2DHT concept to the audience.
