HOW WE ACHIEVE 1+1>2

As GETEC Getriebe Technik GmbH, we are proud of the many years of cooperation with our partner network. This enables us to solve many different challenges: electric motor development with the engineers from Krebs (Jörg Krebs), support on NVH topics together with Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Jan-Welm Biermann – a world-renowned NVH expert and much more.

In order to continuously expand GETEC’s RoadLoadDatabase with Nürburgring data, another long-term partnership with Mertens Motorsport was started in 2020. Mr. Daniel Mertens and his racing team work together with GETEC for vehicle tests. We have the opportunity to test newly developed parts as part of track days, training courses and of course also in exclusive tests.

Joint driving tests have already been carried out at the Test Event Area (TEA) Mendig in 2020. This weekend we look forward to Daniel’s VLN (NLS2) race (VT2 class, #496, Hyundai i30N Fastback) at the Nürburgring Endurance Series (VLN). The first tests show that the performance is good and the car feels perfect with the last tweaks from the winter break.
